Izzy is Not a Computer:

A guy named Tracer I met at a used bookstore overheard me talking to my friend Gretchen about Izzy and he starts jacking his jaw about how Izzy could have uploaded his consciousness into a computer and that would make him live forever. Not that a lot of what he said made any sense to me, but the bottom line was that (as I understand it) a person’s brain gets plugged into a computer and then their body can die, but the person is still alive in the computer. I don’t know if it’s real, but what I do know is that Izzy would never want to go on living as a brain in a computer! Izzy’s body was important to him. He would use his body to spin signs and do other things. Izzy would not want to be alive in a computer without the ability to spin signs or give warm hugs to his biggest fans. Don’t look for Izzy inside your laptop. Cross this one off the list!
